Not This Time, Nayland Smith Has Recieved A Liebster Award!

11 things about me

1. The film that got me hooked onto horror was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part II.
2. I've seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show at least seven times.
3. I once made a bet with a friend that I could read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series in one day. I won!
4. I once made a bet with a friend that I could read the entire Lord of the Rings saga in one day. I failed-I ducked out fifty pages into The Hobbit after I decided that the odds were way too against me.
5. I'm a huge sucker for obscure films! The crazier the better! Readers of this blog will probably know already of my reviews for Bollywood Pumpkinhead, and Robocop battling Freddy Krueger, while his ninja buddy fights hopping vampires and zombies with exploding footprints! In fact, I'm going to be reviewing another crazy film by the end of today!
6. I worked in an art gallery for a long-ish period of time.
7. My boss at the art gallery was an actor in Rolf de Heer's Bad Boy Bubby!
8. I've been a writer for years, and my writing when I was younger was terrible! Needless to say, all copies of my early stories became ash in a fireplace!
9. When I was in school, I wrote and illustrated comics, photocopied them, then sold them to the other kids in school for fifty cents per comic!
10. I've been playing Mass Effect II on my PS3 for the last couple of weeks, and I'm not loving it like every other gamer in existence is.
And finally, 11. I actually enjoy 1967's Casino Royale! And I stick by that too, I love that movie! I don't know why it tends to get heaps of hate (though, make no mistakes, with five directors and ten writers, it's a HUGE mess of a movie!)

The questions I was asked

1. Your first goth band?
I guess I'd say Alice Cooper, assuming he'd fit the bill.

2. New or early batman movies?
Out of Old and New, my favourite Batman series would have to be Old, because Batman Returns is my favourite Batman film, and Michael Keaton's my favourite Batman. My opinion will probably swing to New once The Dark Knight Rises comes out though!

3. The longest you have ever gone without sleep
The longest I ever went without sleep was about 30 hours-I was at a friends birthday party, and I didn't sleep for the whole night! And I stayed awake all of the following day too, right up until about 4:00 in the afternoon, when I started feeling tired, so I went to bed for a quick nap...and woke up the next morning, fifteen hours later!

4. What are your phobias?
I don't have any.

5. Tea or coffee?
Neither. I'm a Milo man!

6. The one country in the world you would love to visit
It's a toss-up between Japan and Russia, and I'd probably choose Japan.

7. Is you hair natural or dyed?
My hair's natural dark brown (though it was blonde when I was a baby!).

8.  Any body modifications you would never consider getting done?
Any. It's not something I'm into.

9. Your most hated tv show.
It's a tough pick (especially considering how hard it is to remember what shows I hate), but I'd probably go with Dallas! For one, it's responsible for some terrible soap opera twists ('The entire previous season was a dream!'), but mainly because it was single-handedly responsible for the quick cancellation of many awesome shows, such as Manimal, and many others (I would name them, but I can't remember many off the top of my head).

10. What book are you reading at the moment?
I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones

11. What do you do to chill out after a long day?
I sit back and listen to some music!
